The project involved the renovation of existing exterior planters at Boise City Hall on both the ground floor and the third floor. The project scope included excavation and demolition of the existing planters with the final goal of replacing the planter waterproofing systems, drainage systems, and a new low-water using irrigation system. Plant material selections had to be low-water using plants and trees, paying careful attention to the micro-climate due to the building’s orientation.
